Do it online

Set up an online sponsorship page. It's the easiest way to fundraise and all the money is paid directly to Cancer Research UK.

You can also collect your sponsorship money in person with a Run 10k sponsorship form (PDF, 42KB – find out about viewing PDFs). Ask everyone you know to sponsor you – colleagues, family, friends and people down at the gym. Find out how to return the money you raise.

Get creative with your fundraising

• Take a look at our fundraising ideas (PDF, 63KB – find out about viewing PDFs) to help you boost your sponsorship total.
• Our sweepstake form (PDF, 57KB) is a great way to get people involved.
• Share fundraising tips or get inspiration and ideas from others on our message board. Please read the message board guidelines before posting messages.
• Ask your boss about match-giving. Many companies will match the amount you raise from their charity fund – it's a tax benefit for them too.
• Ask your sponsors to tick the Gift Aid box. Gift Aid allows us to claim 28p from the government for every £1 donated, without any extra cost to your sponsors.
